As someone who basically lives like Garfield, I can confirm that this is how lazy people act.

I find it kind of scary how garfield sees and treats jon and odie as more of his pets, ordering them around while they obey everything because of how dimwitted and simple-minded they are. Garfield is such a monster

Just realized the Garfield show has the only version of Garfield (not counting movies) where he could actually be understood by Jon and other humans (Humans can't understand Garfield and other talking animals because what we hear from them are their thoughts) however in "The Garfield Show" Garfield and the other animals mouth's are moving aka there actually talking out loud and the humans can finally understand them.
