Brilliant, really enjoyed. I don't do graphic/animation stuff, I do some watercolours, but this was not only informative in terms of colour theory, it conveyed a real passion for the subject.

When you say that the color from the light source fades off into the 'local color' of the material, that's assuming that there is some neutral white ambient light in the scene, or otherwise the lights in the scene combine to produce white in certain areas, correct?
