It is January, 2025, the Commanders have just beaten the Lions, and the algorithm decides to serve me up this memory from a couple months back. Thanks, Youtube!

I’ll admit, the announcers handled it professionally.

That was about as even and analytical a call from the Bears announcers as you could expect. Very professional in this Washington fan's view.

This loss broke the Bears. They haven't won since.

I've seen Hail Marys go against this team. This was the first one I ever saw us convert. I'll never forget it.

2:12 "Just makes the Bears a stronger team"..... that comment gets funnier every week. Especially after the Green Bay and Detroit games.

This was an incredible play. When you consider how long the lineman had to block without a penalty is incredible!

As a Washington fan I've always been a fan of Jeff Joniak's radio calls going back to the early 2000s and those Shane Matthews/Jim Miller Bears teams.

True act of sportsmanship by Forbes, helping a couple of Bear players up.

These two teams with two heralded rookie QBs seasons' trajectories after that pass was caught went in complete opposite directions. The Bears collapsed, having their OC fired the following month and the HC fired not long after with a 10 game losing streak defining their season, and Caleb Williams having an average yet unremarkable rookie campaign. The Commanders finish the season 12-5 silencing doubters, and making the playoffs with Jayden Daniels having the greatest rookie QB season in NFL history, looking like a future MVP and possibly HOFer while becoming only the 6th rookie QB to play in a conference championship, with the chance to be the 1st rookie QB to play in the SuperBowl and become the 1st to win it all.

What a throw! Jayden Daniels is so poised under pressure—that is boy bad! I’m rooting for underdog team now to go to the Super Bowl. I love how humble and talented Daniels is. Go Commanders!

Gotta give credit to Tyrique Stevenson. At least he took time out from his celebrating to get back in time to tip the ball to the Washington player for the game losing TD. Brilliant!
