And just like that, the war was over.

Darkness conquered Light, and the world collapsed into shadow. Those ancient Essences, founders of the earth and stone, had at last fought, the Darkness emerging victorious and triumphant. Heaven had crumbled, the mortals submerged in despair. All hope was lost: the peoples' bow was forced to submit to the Shadow Lord, as slaves to his unending might.

But then, a prophecy arose. The last of the Light's dying power reached the Legendarium, foretelling what was to come. The lost Light would return, one day, in another, bound to the soul and body of a man worthy of the Crown and brave enough to come forth and destroy the forces of evil from the world for good. The man Chosen by the Light would rise up and battle against the Darkness, and the true fate of the world would be sealed. He would either triumph as a Saviour, or lie vanquished alongside the fallen earth.
