when Jimmy Jr was a toddler, he learned to "run" by laying on top his tricycle, kicking with his feet & peddling with his hands. that explains the involuntary hand movements & wide flailing legs.

They did Jimmy and Tina’s forms so weird because animating running is a pain the ass. Especially if you’re doing it for a full episode. That’s why cartoons like Fat Albert and Ed edd n eddy all have distinct running animations.
