Reminds me of the time we heard this random girl start humming on the radio. We were driving to school and we had the radio on, right in the middle of the song, it cut to some random woman humming to the song. It sounded like she was driving, and it didn’t sound like it was purposeful or she was working for the station or whatever. It cut back to the song. It creeped us out so much

Indie voice actor here (I have a lot of experience with audio equipment and editing). The crying in the tiktok is definitely not from Blankroomsoup. The reverb / room noise is entirely different, and that is something incredibly difficult or impossible (short of a professional) to edit in post. Aiden was right, this room was recorded in something like a bathroom, a smaller room with very sound-reflective surfaces (tiles, plastic, ceramic). Blankroomsoup sounds like it's from a, well, blank room. But a larger one, with slightly less reflective surfaces. It has a papery quality to it, like drywall. Just my two cents.
