There is so much beauty in our natural world around us, and so many places in the world are so very different than any other.
Welcome to Sampson In The Wild! I want to share the amazing nature and wilderness of Southern British Columbia, Canada with the world. We have some of the most amazing mountains, trees, rivers, and lakes and I love to get outside and explore them.
After spending hundreds of nights alone in the Canadian wilderness I now live in the Lower Mainland of B.C. and am exploring the lush temperate rainforests around me. If you love to see solo hiking, solo overnights bush camping, bushcraft, and beautiful wilderness settings then be sure to subscribe and follow along with me as I hike, camp, and explore this amazing wilderness.
I am currently searching for a remote spot to build a few long-term bushcraft shelters where I can have a good base camp for my adventures. Be sure to watch for the upcoming series as I search for my new home base!
