I choose devil fruits. There is no way haki is going to stop a devil fruit user from stealing their shadows(Kage Kage no Mi), getting poisoned to death(Doku Doku no mi), fried into crispy bacon(Goro Goro no Mi), resist lightning(Gomu Gomu no Mi), sliced and rearranged(Ope Ope no Mi), being repelled and flung thousands of miles(Nikyu Nikyu no Mi), stopping a logia's elemental abilities, being drained dry(Suna Suna no Mi), other devil fruit abilities, and natural abilities(Zoro and Sanji).

Two major weaknesses about Haki though. 1 - Its strength depends entirely upon your own willpower, those with similar or higher willpower can resist or shrug it off. 2 - You still need to know how to fight properly, while a Devil Fruit does most of the work for you.

Can't wait to see Big Mom, and Kaido. In the manga, Kaido is also a member of the Pirate King's crew... And can't wait to watch One Piece film Z on December, Luffy will be fighting Former Admiral Z who is a human and a cyborg that became a Pirate in the New World.

Devil Fruit abilities have to be trained as well extensively.....not just training for Haki.

Remember the War of the Best, Shanks stops it after He defended Coby from Akainu, look at Akainu's face when Shanks confronted him? And Kizaru try to attack Shanks by his power but been warned by Benn Beckman by just pointing a Gun at him. Kizaru is a light man and cannot be easily touch but been scared by a man by pointing a gun at him.

Yep he had Haki 100% He uses it when he's able to make contact with Kizaru and kicks him into the ground, and the same with when he kicks Akaini. Akaini say's he's a Haki user, but it was more annoying that painful. Same with the White Beard swordsman Vista. You can attack with Busoshoku Haki in two ones. One where it's an invisable force surrounding the body, and the other is Busoshoku: Koka (hardening) where the body part becomes hard like steel. Marco wasn't using the Koka version.

it was coO and you're right, he used electrical signals to pick up peoples conversations not haki, with haki he was able to accurately tell who said what and pinpoint their location.

I think if you put Shank's haki against White Beard's DF....you'd get equal output.

...but in the Post Marineford Arc marine doctors confirmed to Coby that he had the Haki that allows him to hear other people's conversaions....nuff said -.-

Oh, hell yeah! That's the Last Arc. KingofLighting did a Video on that subject a while back. The Last Arc shouldn't be for probably another Decade, meaning overall 1200-1500 episodes in my view. What that means for the Manga? Probably 1500-2000 chapters. The New World can expand in SO many ways!

@NaTsUdRaGnEeL210 He could hear the "voices" in his head disappearing, he basically felt their presence fade away as they died. Enel could do that and actually hear what people are saying at a long distance.

devil abilitys and attacks can be enhanced with haki added to it, so basically i choose both but only depending on the said devil fruit

Actually coby did hear the cries of the marines and pirates using observation haki during the marineford war..

Haki stops the effects of all devil fruit as well but a devilfruit user with haki is almost invincible as they still have power wile in seastone and can hit logia useers
