Nice explanation. I'm a bit of a mag collector, but I apparently need to invest more time into it. Its amazing even in just focusing on AK's there is a lifetime worth of collecting involved.

I love the short top Tula ridgebacks that I bought, just wish I could find more for a reasonable price. I use these and my East German metal surplus mags exclusively now.

I've often wondered if those supposed Sanitized Magazines aren't just some weird East German Bakelite Magazine.. I've heard lots of things! As I'm sure you have, All sorts of people's guess' at what they are looking at. All the collectors here like of course, Mint, No scratches, Cyrillic marked both and even all three arsenals there actually. And of course the Ink stampings. And the O T K, whatever that stands for?.
