This is not only a Missouri thing but an American thing. You have managed to bring SICK to a whole new level. GREAT WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are the first restorer that respects the history of the vise, no stucco, no metallic paints, only polished iron, very nice.

I enjoyed this.

So many great messages here. My favorite, is that it’s okay if something doesn’t work. You try your best. Give it a go and move on to try something else. You learn. It’s only a fail if you quit. So well done.

It's a long way from Kansas City, but somehow you managed to find each other in that desert. Good to see you patch her up, we all need a bit of TLC from time to time.

I LOVE that you complimented the braze repair done to the dynamic jaw! That'll be a work horse! Great job Brett!

Nice job, Brent. And nice job to you and Jess, helping out the maker’s family. That’s a chore that’s just too big for a lot of folks, particularly at such a difficult time. I know his wife was grateful for your support.

I have a Reed Mfg vice dated 1905. I did similar res to it. Love how you left the brazing visible in this.
