Thanks for this man. I just started into the hobby and almost walked away based on the prices alone. This helps alot. Cheers.

I really like you taking your time to explain this, also in clear, understandable way for me as a non-English native. Great content, will try it out next time I'm out of cleaner.

I made this and found the cleaner worked really well straight off the bat with no issues, works extremely well to be honest. I used window cleaner with Amonia. When I clean my brush, I find I am using much more cleaner now because I am not worried about the cost. I made 500 mls of cleaner for $7, a quarter of the price of the store brought stuff.

Solid. Thank you, sir. This mixture is not unlike the one I use for my eyeglasses :D

Great tip! Thanks for sharing. I see a lot of people just use window cleaner to clean guns straight out the bottle. Works great.

You can just use distilled water mixed with distilled white vinegar to clean an airbrush. Soak the parts for about 5 minutes if breaking airbrush completely down for a thorough cleaning. Then just use cotton swabs and pipe cleaners. Dry. Reassemble. You can add Floetrol (flow aid/leveler) and Glycerin to the cleaner if you want. White vinegar is one of the best cleaning agents there is. Heck...it removes rust if you soak rusty parts in it for a day.

Thanks for the great tip - this will save me a lot of money! You mentioned that your biggest expense is Isopropyl alcohol. Cheapest price - one dollar per bottle at the Dollar Tree store.
