I learned to make this food from my mother, grand mothers, aunts, cousins and from the very few books that are available on our cuisines.

Thank you for this. I love Afghan cuisine! When I lived in Toronto & Montreal I was literally surrounded by Afghan food shops & restaurants. I missed it so. Where I am now the nearest is a 4hr drive across the border & excludes Border checkpoints waiting time. The best is Kabul Dharba ... the best in my present region ...
