those are really nice pepper plants, especially noting there in the ground. i know alot of people like to prune, but i dont think pruning helps production as there is no evidence proving that it does, although maybe if your plant is super leggy and just has a few leaves, you might want to top it. But thats if the plant doesnt look good and it needs to regrow due to lack of light. The only time i can think of pruning as being a good idea is when the plant isnt in good condition and you want to regrow part of it, so you cut it.
