I have a rock island 1911 in 38 super and love the thing!! Very reliable!! Has like over 3,000 rounds through and ive only had 1 jam..

I love My RIA Ultra. I did change the slide spring. Iv ran over 10 rounds through it since March. Love the gun!

I bought one just like this from Rock Island but without the rail your the same as me I never had a 1911 before or even shot one but now that do own one and have shot it several times I love it for what they are being lower priced 1911 they really are nice guns

This was the 1st handgun I ever purchased. I love it and I do carry in the cooler weather. Also I also ride the safety with my thumb.

I have the full size 45 acp by Rock Island. I love the gun. It shoots well and once I shot a hundred rounds, it never failed to feed. I’ve shot 1000 rounds thru it now and it’s great..

Great review 1776! Rock Island Armory makes very fine 1911 pistols. I gave one to my son-in-law, which I carried for a long time. It's a fine firearm. I have a RIA 10mm that looks just like yours, except it has a longer barrel (and full underlug) and taller grip. Great shooting 10mm it is for sure. They are straight shooters and I'll bet your going to love it!

In the military I use the 45 and 1911 and it is an excellent gun for self-defense, accurate reliable wonderful trigger, with a little training you can get very good with them !!!

I own one 1911. I'm in Canada so carrying is not an option. I do think everyone should own at least one. It's the Harley Davidson of hand guns not to mention that, next to the Glock, it's one of the most customizable. Tons of aftermarket parts and accessories. In my opinion they are beautiful guns. Looking forward to your shooting vid.
