The first ending with the odor issue was a joke but it would make sense if the lore is put together right with michael afton taking an alias since "afton" wouldnt be welcomed, and his odor was caused by him being a decaying corpse

The Ennard Ending in SL basically shows that Ennard was able to get out of the facility and hunted you down, they're mad that you didn't go to the scooping room. So Ennard kills you in that ending.

Ever since sister location released I've always wondered if the "odor" mentioned in the fnaf 1 termination ending was actually mike's rotting body leaving a stench in the office

After learning that the night guard we play as along the game is (possibly) THE same Michael Afton who we played as in Sister Location, the ai tampering and odor excuse for getting fired now makes sense

Honestly UCN would’ve been a good game to end with. Seeing William in hell is a good way of ending it. Now he’s a zombie and now it’s just incredibly stupid

the canonical fnaf 6 ending is literally so perfect and in my opinion they should've stopped there.... it's an amazing closing to the series and i think it's stupid to try and expand on the story now because it's just a jumbled up pile of lore at this point. i will never forget the chills i felt while seeing it for the first time

2:18 i always believed the "tampering with the animatronics" is because it's the custom night, so you were able to set the animatronics' difficulty, which could be seen as tampering with them to change their behaviour

Now that Security Breach has come out and pretty much all of the secrets have been revealed, a couple things are evident.

The way that fnaf 6 wraps everything up is very satisfying, but I hate that security breach kind of ruined it by bringing everyone back

The fnaf 6 lore ending was so good, I wish they just left it at that, no glitchtrap, or vanny, or burntrap, or whatever else, at this point the games are more about Afton than they are about Freddy

The odor gag is actually canon as the security guard is actually Michael Afton, William Afton’s son, trying to set the souls free. FNaF Sister Location is actually a third prequel (1st being FNaF 4 and 2nd being FNaF 2) to all the other games, which is why when we see the pink slips, we see that he was tampering with the animatronics (trying to set the souls free) and his odor (him being a rotting corpse after the events of Sister Location). He uses fake names because of his father’s reputation with the restaurant chain, however Jeremy is the only security guard who isn’t secretly Michael, he’s actually the infamous Bite of ‘87.

I’m hoping they use the Zelda timeline tactic with the three separate branches in order to preserve the weight the fnaf 6 ending carried

The more I hear the Canon lore of fnaf the more I realize that matpat nailed most of his fnaf theories

FNAF 6 (and 7) will always be the real narrative end of FNAF for me.

It makes sense for the FNAF2 location to have a security guard despite being shut down, lot of valuable stuff is in there, so it’s important to make sure it ain’t stolen while the other restaurant is built and opened up
