I had General Anaesthesia many time at the Dentist in the 1970 & early 80's, it was always black rubber mask and black rubber hoses and breathing bag, I loved the sweet rubbery Nitrous Oxide that made me lightheaded and giggly, then the musty sweet smell of the Halothane that very quickly put me under with all those fuzzy, buzzy feelings, always had that brief moment of euphoria just as I dropped into the warm black of unconscious.
