In Seattle during a prolific lightning storm there were sirens going off but they appeared to be from police or fire trucks. Since Seattle does not have tornado sirens perhaps fire and cops substituted their sirens instead....

Luckily I have a weather radio to see what's going on with the weather, I live in Decatur Illinois, and the city is starting to replace all of the ASC RM-130 Sirens with FS 2001-130 Sirens
