I love pictures of the mint green water at Fort Walton Beach. I currently live in Texas, and the most famous beach here is Galviston. The water ranges in colour from slime green, mud brown, to oil slick black.

Guys this place is located just a mile away from Crab Island area on Hwy 98 going away from Destin towards Ft Walton beach. Look for cars parked on the left side of the road. If you travel a few more miles down the road you will come to Henderson Beach Recreation Area also known as John Beasley Park. Plenty of paved parking there and showers. Wooden walkway to the beach.

How is the animals there? Like is there a lot of jellyfish and such? I’m looking for a place to take my daughter.
