ngl, for starters id suggest looney for solo runs bc he is a good extractor yet he can fair really well against running from twisteds so he can survive

You can do solo runs so you can complete more machines, since its just you there with no one so they wont steal any machines.

You should also do solo runs! You get all of the machines for ichor, and solo runs are more easier than normal runs with people as they dont affect the amount of twisteds you have to avoid and machines you have to complete.

U can use all this tips and use toodles because when u get the ability of toodles u get a chance of getting ichor (I'm also saving up for pebble) hope this helps

Rodger earns +2% research on a twisted, so if ur grinding any main toon or a toon that requires 100% research on their twisted, Rodger is a recommendation.
