with your picking hand (your right) instead of stroking (playing) the strings down try stroking (playing) them up and alternating them, A) you can play faster, B) sounds better C)Allows you to screw aroung with some of the picking in a song to get a different more unique sound. Just try playing a chord by moving your hand up then play it down and you should hear a different sound, it is still the same chord.
