Nice run... i have the XL-5 4x4 brushed version converted to brushless(120a esc/3300kv motor) using 3s(4300mah/40c) with stock gearing(3.92), 54t spur/17t pinion and proline 2.8'' trencher tire/desperado wheel combo, and i managed a best of 44mph so far.

Cool! My Traxxas skully (same truck, different body) just went brushless! I used a cheap GoolRC system and I am filming it tomorrow! Depending on the weather!

I wouldn’t count that 45mph cause the front end was lifting which means there’s still more power to be put down. I’d guess probably 55-60mph

Great thing about the VXL system is when if you can't see your car/truck from a good distance away You can hear the screaming power it produces! Kinda like a supercharger lol.

I got my stampede up to 67 mph on a 3s but used a 4p castle motor with the vxl-5 esc,.... only problem I had was pinion gear getting wore down
