Ticking over, your having a laugh,that engine sounds absolutely knackered and all that smoke confirms it,the Commer TS3s I worked on sounded a lot better than that bag off nails and were virtually smoke free when warmed up,all that blue smoke suggest unburnt fuel because of lost compression and general wear and tear,it’s Bollocks.

That's not ticking over that is knackered, end of.

Totally worn out. Blue smoke like that says its burning oil. Most likely very worn pistons/rings/ bores. That needs a complete strip down to find the problem..

When I see british trucks belching blue smoke I wonder at the quality of british diesel lube oils
