I didnt realise that the technicians death actually allowed the animatronics to move about freely. The voice thinks they're on stage when they're actually somewhere else. The animatronics are clever.

Even for a series like FNAF, this was a super disturbing moment. It was the first time the series actually showed death instead of alluding to it or showing it in a pixel game. This was the first time the player was actually witness to it, and it happened at a really unexpected moment in such a sadistic way.
