We don't live in fear- but in preparedness.

* Luke 21:9-36
And when you hear of wars, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once. Then he said to them, "Nations will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,

* Proverbs 22:3
Prepare your work outside, get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after build your house

* Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household.

TIP: ALWAYS check expiration dates when you shop anywhere. I was in Walmart recently and found frozen sausage patties (30 patties per pack) that had expired two months before i was shopping that day. Expired foods also stops me from letting other people do my shopping for me.

Walmarts main problem is their self checkouts!!! Theft is up because of this issue!! There is always going to be people who shoplift period, however, the self checkouts are making it so much easier for customers to do this. I no longer grocery shop in Walmart. I do a weekly online order and have it delivered. Was a game changer for me!! This way of grocery shopping has helped me to stick to my list and my budget without being tempted with impulse purchases!! And I have never had a problem with outdated food or merchandise. Bring back the regular check outs where an employees does the work, not the customer. If Walmart wants us to check ourselves out, give us a 20% discount on our order!!!!

The bags we get at grocery stores are NOT a single use for me. I give some to my sister who uses them. I use them as trash bags in the car and truck. Also I use them in other locations in the house for trash. I use them in the garden. I use them in the laundry area. I use ALL grocery bags at least twice (unless torn) and sometimes more.

They should hire more cashiers instead of having people use the self checkout, that's where most of the theft is happening. Until Wal-Mart gives me an employee discount I refuse to use self checkout.

I fought using self checkout, but I started bringing my own bags after a bottle of floor wax broke through a Walmart bag and hit my garage floor and spilled wax all over. I now bring sturdy reuseable canvas bags and at self checkout I can bag all my frozen in items in a cooler bag, general groceries in another and HBA and the hardware in another. It makes my unpacking much easier.

I (& most of my neighbors) stopped shopping at Walmart when they went to self-checkouts & eliminated jobs to the point there are no employees to help you. I agree, who wants to buy fancy nails when their kids are hungry & all they want is basic food that WM can’t stock, leaving empty shelves.

That’s interesting because I work at Walmart part time, and we’ve heard nothing about a bag ban… and yes, I totally agree. The bags are trash. That’s why I always double bag and sometimes triple bad my customers items.

“Control the food, control the people.” If we all started being more self sufficient we would potentially put Walmart out of business!

Please buy heirloom seeds. So you can save some of the seeds from your crops for replanting.

Man Cave Tip: Buy 1 plastic tote/storage bin, and bring it in the store when you shop. I try to keep the tote in my car and use it whenever I shop for multiple items. It's far more accommodating and stronger than a flimsy bag - paper or plastic. If it's too heavy, I take a few things out to move into the car/house. Problem solved! :)

I just shopped my Walmart yesterday. Plastic bags are readily available at the check-out lanes. Nothing is behind bars. These changes must be for the stores in high crime areas.

That’s why I don’t shop there. It’s too messy and I’m not scanning and bagging my own groceries. I am not an employee and I don’t receive a check every two weeks!!

I think you would be much better off just to list the six points quickly. I don’t know if making long ones helps make more money. But I dropped out after number four and skip through a lot to get to there. Thank you for your help in these topics.

I agree with the lock down of laundry stuff. Our local Home Depot had a theft of 3 carts full walk out the door. Our front end team at Lowe's was able to stop the same people from doing it to us.
