Miles Prower (マイルス・パウアー Mairusu Pauā?), better known as Tails (テイルス Teirusu?), is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic, two-tailed fox cub and Sonic's best friend who was born on West Side Island. He can use his tails like helicopter rotors to fly and has a remarkable IQ with excellent mechanical engineering skills. Since they met, Tails has accompanied Sonic in his adventures to thwart their nemesis and world dictator, Dr. Eggman.
