Description
I love music and have been an entertainer in some capacity for over 20 years. I love the social aspect of Youtube as well, so I put them together! I don't expect to get big, so I just hope you enjoy what I put out because that's what I'm here for.
Here's what I WILL do:
- Go out of my way to respond to comments and take suggestions to heart.
- Always put high quality stuff out because that's what I like to see.
- Never put earning money over making things for the joy of music. Joy is worth more anyway.
- Put out original music that isn't made just for commercial success.
- Never pander or beg for likes and subs, if people like it enough they'll stick around.
Hope you all like it.

Started out as Jinjer and then they came in as Babymetal and then Crystal Lake in the breakdowns. All metal heavy hitters in one song. They can also rap. One of the coolest bands in Japan right now.

Wow, your prognosis of "cute and brutal" was very accurate.

I think one of the things that makes Female bands from Japan more interesting is they don't try to be masculine bad asses like a lot of Western female bands. They embrace their feminity as it provides a greater gap between what you see and what you hear. Just take a look at the big 3 right now. Band Maid, Lovebites, and Nemophila.

Japanese metal is underrated, especially the 90s black metal scene with bands like Sabbat, Sigh and Abigail in the post-Venom era, but overall great bands there. It's cool to see all these new bands get some recognition though they deserve way more.

One of the vocalists from Lady Baby went off and formed a group named Brats. I think they sound pretty good.

Definitely one of the bands to watch. And yes, the Japanese metal scene is onto some sort of secret sauce, it's simply amazing.

This band have managed to jump up to be sharing some pretty hallowed ground in my "favourite bands" list in very short order. Some suggestions for follow ups:

Enjoyed your reaction. As others have suggested, definitely check out Nemophila, my new favorite band. #1 is Oiran live in their studio. Monsters is tons of fun, and the ballad Life, also live stream, is not to me missed. Also their covers of Iron Maiden and songs by other Japanese bands, like MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, the anime K-on.

Funny you mentioned Crystal Lake, as HANABIE are produced by CL's drummer!
