I just realised at 0:57 when it says “chains will grip around my feet and they will quickly surround me” I just realised this could be a hint at if he gets too caught up in his superior image of himself or he starts to be too overconfident, L will catch him immediately because (spoiler ahead just in case) in a scene after L dies in the anime when Light is on the phone to Near and he says something along the lines of ‘why does this feel like I’m speaking with L?’ And in the background there is an image of L with chains running around him, signifying his position of power in law. A detective. I just though that was so interesting and clever, I’m not sure if somebody else has made this realisation but oh well xx
