Looks good. I have done this with mine, but have the power pack in my jacket so during the day I just tuck the wire inside the helmet and at night I can hook it up. I like how the glowing wire looks going into the jacket. I also used contact adhesive to stick it.

Cool idea! Does the buzzing sound come from the power unit? If it does maybe the power pack could be made to fit inside a cheek pad to muffle the sound?

How did you make it all in one? if the led tape has the same input as the thread? How did you cut and how did you make the connection so that both parts are lit with a single button?

About the inverter, do you get different types that have various options such as pulsing lights instead of just staying on the entire time?

Thanks for this! Did you need 2 battery packs for the tape and the wire? Or do they have more than 1 input jack?
