I am so pumped about this trade. I think Murray is a better fit on this team. Murray Zion Herb Trey and whoever else at center. Defense is going to be gooood. Murray is an above average defender I feel put that with Herb and Trey man this is going to be good

Why would CJ MCOLLUM start next to Dejounte Murray??? Why not start Trey Murphy & Herbert Jones as your 2 & 3?? Trey offers way more 2 way Athletic versatile ability than CJ… just bring him off the bench as a 6th man.. 🏾‍️ just saying, a lineup of Dejounte, Herb, Trey, & Zion would be a headache to play in a juggernaut western conference..

Dejounte is a good dude but him and Trae just didn’t fit and if you have to choose between the two is Trae Young hands down. Hawks now have picks in the next 3 drafts again and added on a poa defender which is what the hawks need next to Trae Young. The Trae Young will make the offense work but they had to get better on D. Adding a former Lottery pick that can do that along with replacing the picks they lost in the Murray trade was worth it. Win win

Murray takes those mid range but he has a better handle, better playmaker, takes more 3s, better defender, and hisncontrat is half of what BI is seeking. If we could get BI for 25 mil we would gladly keep him
