Description
Military style small arms are an important part of our culture and freedom. We celebrate military history and our 2nd Amendment rights here at MAC by bringing you to the range to shoot with us via a camera. Join us on the range!
Basic ground rules:
I don't care if you disagree with me or if you express that disagreement tactfully. Trolling, hate speech, attacking others in the comments will result in a ban if I see it. Let's keep it civil and fun!
Full Disclosure:
Most of the ammo used on the channel is donated by Federal. Oddball ammo I buy. T&E guns have been used over the years in videos but most are guns from my collection, my cameraman's collection or from friends. At this time MAC is crowd funded by Patreon. (Patreon.com/MilitaryArms). All commentary are opinions based on our experience with various products.

I’m not looking for a new gun I’m worried about never getting ammunition again.

I just finished my AK-308 Battle Rifle build that started its life as a Saiga 308-1 with the 21" barrel. I moved the front sight back and installed a 24×1.5 adapter to allow the use of a muzzle device. I also installed a modified and tuned FIME Group Enhanced FCG, and I tuned the gas system to allow for suppressed shooting and better accuracy. My AK-308 is extremely reliable and very accurate with minimal recoil.

I personally prefer the Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM-16, I've put 2K NATO rounds and never jammed, never misfired or slamfired, it's incredibly accurate and the M1A imo has the best iron sights of any Semi-Automatic Rifle. Love how it feels, easy to take down to single components and put back together.

Wanted a Scar, could afford the Tavor, I am extremely happy with it so far. It's got to be one of the more high speed/low drag battle rifles of the bunch, yes it's not quite as accurate as the Scar or nicer AR10s, but it makes up for it by being such a tight package and so easy to shoot well within 200 yards.

Man, to me hands down the FAL. Believe or not it qualified to become our fighting rifle but US Army leadership at the time said no.

Well my service rifle in the Royal Marines was the FN FAL. I would love another but my base rifle started as a Springfield Saint Victor. I was not happy with it. Accuracy was 4” at 100. I changed out the barrel for a Faxon 20” heavy fluted. 3.5 Trigger, upgraded controls, 6-24 Vortex FFP scope with a red dot mounted on top. Added a bipod and vertical fire grip shoots sub 1” groups. Shoots really well. Tested it on 100 rounds rapid fire to see if heat would affect accuracy or feeding. No issues still sub 1” groups while hot. Yes I would love an FN Scar

I just couldn't stop looking at the Boba Fett beanie and realized I was missing out on what was being talked about.

I also have a PTR 91, M1A scout and a FAL on order. I will take good 308 over a 556 any day.
