it has a rubber band with a weight on it inside. When he rolls it, the rubber band gets wound up by the weight. When the can stops, the rubber band begins to unwind. The momentum from the weight unwinding propels the can backwards. Really cool stuff :D

No there's a twisted string in there, once rolled, the string twists up, and the energy is built up, once it rolls back the string is untwisted causing it to move back to him. I learned this in science. It's called Potential and Kinetic energy. Potential energy is the energy stored when rolled forward, then the energy turns to Kinetic, causing it to move back to you.

@stijnuitalphen u put holes in each end the put a ruberband on one end through one hole put a pin or somthin add a weight at the other end put anthother rubber band the same way as before but opposite end there you have it!
