Though the biker was obviously making a poor choice, the police officer recognized that pushing it would have caused someone to get hurt or killed. Though the driver of the bike should have been ticketed and possibly charged with reckless endangerment, the officer saw that it wasn't worth another person's life. Wrong doer or not, the biker probably has family somewhere and his family deserved to have him come home. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson someday before he has to learn it the hard way (meeting the pavement or a 2T car driven by an unaware driver). In the meantime, it's unfortunate that bikers like this man give a bad reputation to most other sport riders out there.

Only reason the cops don't chase you is because of your own safety. Too bad you don't realize it. You think you can outrun them and it's over but if they wanted to they could call for assistance and chopper.

Thats actually pretty smart. never dropping the wheelie. it blocks the police from seeing your tag. so after you gain distance you drop and go as fast as possible and get away. not like he was keeping the wheelie up for that reason. he was just having fun. dont really see the point of cops being upset with this behavior. its his own life hes endangering no one elses. it should be his choice if he wants to live recklessly and free as long as he isnt putting anyone else in danger.
