I just put up a enamel dot vid, I had no idea there were so many already up on youtube, lol. so now I am watching everyone else's! great idea breaking them though. the high heat does make them fast, but too high and they bubble and mess up. thanks for the tip! laura

Hi Shana. I melted mine at 450 as well and it took about 15 minutes. They were the regular size beads as well and I agree I didn't care for the results either. I am going to try it at 400 like you suggested. Mine had a terrible smell while they were melting. Was wondering if the smell bothered you. No one seems to be mentioning it.

I don't have beads but want to try this. BUT I think it will be trial an error for each of us. I have a gas stove and a toaster oven. Some say one degree or another (lower seams to work better) do you do it on nostick cookie sheet? How about a siliccone pad. Some say parchment paper..... i don't know what but to trial all...dee :)
