If Sunshine wasn't my favourite film of all time, and I didn't know that distress signal sound effect so well, I would probably have been freaked out by this. But good effort, either way.

Perfect balance between the normal and abnormal! Triggered the feeling of "otherness" that's so important in horror!

This is so freaking cool, and oh so creepy. Well done man. When I first saw this and didn't realize it wasn't actually in the game...I literally got chills. I also love the tip of the hat to Sunshine...such a great sci-fi film :) Keep up the great work!

Well done. It would be horribly scary to hear this sort of thing in-game but it would be very rewarding and cool if you could track the source down and find a derelict ship with a malfunctioning distress beacon and destroy a backup power module, which you could see blinking on the hull or inside a drifting main section, taking it offline and releasing some rare cargo that isn't marked as stolen.
