Description
Welcome to Robin Hood Bricks

quote: โ€œIt started with a single passenger train, and now look whatโ€™s happened!โ€ โ€“ Mrs Hood

This is a channel for all things LEGO, but mainly the creation, development and relentless expansion of my LEGO City: โ€œBrick Nottinghamโ€. I am Robin, I live in Nottingham (UK) and I love LEGO.

I will share every aspect of Brick Nottinghamโ€™s journey including city development, MOCs (My Own Creations), sets I have bought and (hopefully) improved, building guides, and tips & tricks for how I do things along the way.

Robin Hood Bricks is intended to be a POSITIVE and CONSTRUCTIVE (pun intended) channel for adults to watch and enjoy. So please help me keep this on track.

If you want to know or see something specific, add a comment. I am learning as I go and would appreciate the feedback.

After having looked at various double decker cars in this style, I have to say that this is by far the cleanest execution of it I've seen. And the yellow one, too. They look like they came with their respective sets. Well done, sir!

Club car looks great, the transition in roof slope is really well done.

The "cargo train delux" set uses a 1x2 tile in the middle of the bootom rail of the sliding doors and than the doors will not slide to the sides when closed

The club car is absolutely cracking! I would only make a single change in the entire design: at 10:15 when you add the lower level windows they are two bricks high, but I would probably build that section with the windows that are three bricks high, eliminating the row of grooved bricks that run through the center horizontally. If I can stock up enough of those windows and locate a dark grey chassis I might have to add this car to my train!

those two moc carrages soo should be an actual lego set to go with that train.soo good!

I agree: that looks absolutely fantastic!

Brilliant Robin. Your attention to detail is impeccable and your seamless build techniques between the official models and your moc is amazing. The observation carโ€ฆwow. We hit the lottery with having 2 weeks in a row with a weekend sandwiched between your trains and moc! Sweet weekend and thank you

26:02 is my favorite part. Great roll of the wheels! Love the way the cars keep the general look of the main set!

Damn those new carriages look amazing! Awesome job - watching them loop around in the background and they look so natural! Top notch!
