Description
After having an allotment for 10 years I thought I'd share what goes on. I hope to show you what's possible for someone low on budget and time, but with plenty of enthusiasm. I'm no expert but I know the basics, you may learn something, you may not, but there's only one way to find out.

Cheers
Dave

Looking good Dave, lots of very hard work and it’s paid off. Love the ‘quick win’ thought, I need to put it into action

Very very impressive... and once dug you can then go "no dig" without the cardboard/compost game. Grass paths brilliant and great compost grass mowings. Big stump... yep I'd have to got rid of it too (gardening OCD!)... GREAT WORK...exhausting just watching

your mounds of weeds, If you could stack it somewhere upside down and make a pile and then cover it with the dreaded membrane and put some manure in between the layers and exclude the light it will make great loam for potting compost if you want John Innes its 7parts Loam 3 parts peat(or leafmould or I use peat free these days) and 2 parts Sharp sand then add fertiliser to the required strength or you could spread it on you plot with a bit of BF&B mixed in with it.
