We start aging the day we're born and continue until the day we die. But how well we age depends a lot on the lifestyle we live. Self destructive behaviors such as drugs, tobacco, alcohol, poor diet, lack of exercise, and stress, all contribute to the rapid decline of our mind and body. Doctors and Scientists have shown that practices such as meditation, Tai Chi, exercise, spending time in nature, all contribute to how long we live and our mental and physical health and well being as we age. None of us really want to spend our later years in poor health, unable to enjoy our families and our retirement. So make a commitment to guard your health, and age as gracefully as you can.
