At first I didn't notice Paintbrush's new voice, but now comparing clips from past episodes and this episode I can tell there is clearly a difference. The voice change is not as noticeable as Bow's, so maybe that's why Bow's voice change had some in-universe reason while Paintbrush's didn't.

So Bowbot (or Bot as the credits say) sounds like a kid doing a PowerPoint presentation in front of their whole class. The voice actor doesn't do a bad job, but it's kinda weird seeing this soft spoken voice coming from somebody who was a valley girl just an episode ago.

Bot and Bow are two different characters. That's the point of Bot's whole character arc. so while the voice change is jarring, Bot and Bow have two different personalities that the voices compliment well.
