I test drove the new 2106 optima sx today. That thing is just one of the most amazing cars I saw today. It is not any slower than a new maxima. Car and driver i think rated it at 6.5 0-60, and 14.9 quarter mile, but I will tell you for sure, it's faster than that. We had 3 passengers, full tank, a/c on, hot weather outside, and it pulled very hard. Merging was a pleasure, and off the line it was super fast. I had to merge into a one lane of a ramp, and car on the left lane was going 80. I floored the pedal, to the click, and it just pulled to 80 in a blink of an eye. The prius that was very close was going quickly to my tail, but after i pressed the gas to the floor, I quickly left it behind. That's with over 4000lbs in the car. Can't imagine what it would be like with ac off, and being a single driver in it. That car is gorgeous. I recently drove the new maxima, and I would definitely take the Kia over the maxima or altima v6 (not even talking about the 4 cylinder, out of comparison). The selling price was 24k for a well equipped verison with the 2.0t. I really don't care what other magazines say and time, but the car is a beast. Torque is available already from 1500-5000 rpm. What a gorgeous car! It feels like a BMW 550/750 inside. They offer 360 camera, cooled/heated seats, list is just so long. What a car!!!!

I’ve never used this feature in my Altima and I still don’t get what it’s for...

Are you paddleshifting @ 1:55 or the cvt is automaticaly "shifting"? and also what percentage of throttle are you using in that moment? Seems ok to me coming for a cvt.

What's that orange light mean? The triangle..

Can you shift from D(drive) to Ds while moving ,or will that do any damage to the CVT. i never used the Ds on my Altima.
