How I imagine it: Quagmire stabs Joe in the back using his wheelchair, causing him to slowly be infected. Then, Quagmire approaches Joe and shows a shadow of Quagmire squeezing the upper part of Joe’s skull, not letting go until Joe dies. Then, immediately after Joe gets killed by Quagmire, the Darkness infects him, trapping his soul in his body.

For a bit of backstory: so after rallo and quagmire made the plane crash peter, cleveland and joe somehow managed to survive. cleveland saw quagmire and grabbed a piece of debris (a metal pole) and tried to hit quagmire but quagmire grabbed the pole impaled clevelands head and ripped his arms, off while joe losing all of his limbs begs peter for help but peter isnt there so quagmire stabs joes wheel chair into his back rips off both his arms and rips off his face (after all of this cleveland and joe are corrupted yeah it was brutal)

I’m still wondering How Peter Didn’t get corrupted in the cutscene because if Peter was knocked out how Quagmire didn’t notice him, but RIP Joe Swanson he will be missed I can’t believe Bonnie’s baby will grow up without a dad🏽️
