Jimmy deeply grieving his dear friend. Such an exquisite and sensitive soul. Grateful for the strength he showed in moving through a very dark night. A gift to us all. Love you, Jimmy.

This is my very favorite version of Chopin's Prelude in E-m, opus 28, #4. Jimmy plays it with raw emotion, and it brings me to tears every time I hear it.

I was at this concert 3 rows up on the side of the stage on Jimmy's left side, what an awesome concert, you had, Jimmy, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Kenny Jones from the Who on drums, Bill Weinman on bass, also Joe Cocker was there with numerous other musicians. It still gives me chills talking about THAT concert, I've seen the Grateful Dead over 50 times plus probably another 30 or 40 other concerts but The Arms concert was something very special

Mother of all that’s holy! That sound was other worldly. I grew up w/this guy. He becomes the guitar. I know we all love certain musicians; Clapton, Stevie Ray, etc. Jimmy has always been it for me.

Such an amazing guy He was in such a state when he played this. He lost zeppelin which was his life lost Bonham and Ronnie Laine and personal problems He was drowning his misery in drugs and booze. So thankful that we did not lose him too Thank god that Jimmy was saved from being another rock tragedy. Yes Jimmy was not at his best. He was broken I think all his fans can guess what kind of man he is God bless him
