Resident evil 4 was and still iconic , almost everything about this game is perfect+ Leon was so badass in re4 my favorite character in the franchise!!!

Code Veronica isn't a spin-off. It was supposed to be RE3, but then the actual spin-off, Nemesis, ended up being titled RE3 instead due to its surprising quality and development delays, so they went with Code Veronica. It's actually one of the most important games in the lore because it reintroduces Wesker with powers and reunites Claire with Chris.

Biohazard at S is so valid. It revamped the franchise as you said but also reconfirmed the foundation of horror that had been lost with the previous 3 games. Ofc 4 and 6 were fun but resident evil was about horror and those two were missing that element.

It's still crazy to think about the MASSIVE risks they took with 4. They made the game SOOO different than what we knew Resident Evil for (no pun intended) at the time, and it ended up being widely considered the very best in the series. The odds of doing that correctly are millions to one.

Re4 and Village are so replayable, I could live the rest of my life playing only those 2 games lol. So much fun.

No matter what your favorite RE game is I think we can all agree this series is phenomenal

Yeah RS5 was different, but still gave me one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Playing coop through the entire game with my mate Rennie back-to-back for 3 days straight was such a thrilling and exciting experiment and one which has not been paralleled.

RE4 was revolutionary and i used to play it every day when i was smaller and i had thousands of hours on it Good times man, good times

For me, 5 is such a drag. That said, I absolutely love 6. I’ll never understand why 6 is so hated.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games ever made, I can just play it over and over again. So glad it's getting a remake, can't wait for it!

5 is totally underrated. Guns were sweet, good graphics for the time, it was fun, the characters were all sweet, I guess I couldn't see the flaws other people noticed personally, but then again there's also that one reason I think we all know gave people a problem with it
