OMG. I love you. I can finally say that I can play War Thunder. Hitting a burst on a stable target was almost impossible, and all my dogfight kills were mostly due to luck.

in the bottom left corner of the test flight menu there is a button to edit the mission. this will let you fly a test flight in any map you like with ai to fight. I find that the added pressure of dogfighting ai can help me diagnose problems better than default test flights.

This tutorial helped me so much! I just got the Thrustmaster Hotas X for Christmas and it was really difficult to complete the tutorial in War Thunder because of the settings. Thanks!
