Holy crap, 100% works even now. Took me a few attempts to get the positioning and pattern down, but after the third attempt it was easy to read. The trick is definitely not to get greedy, even with this cheese, at first I was trying to get as many hits on that head as possible, but then kept getting hit when I tried to run for the tail. But the successful run I just used my whirligig in it's 1h untransformed state (couldn't get reliable hits in 2h mode) ran between the legs, waited for the jump then charge attacked. Only got one visceral off the entire time but that's fine. I was only doing maybe 800-1200ish each charged hit too but WHO CARES it worked. Thanks so much!

For those still having trouble using this strategy, I suggest having all 3 Clockwise Metamorphosis Runes equipped. All 3 will boost your health to a total 30%. And to take it a step further, have the "Corruption" oath. I'm not 100% positive if it works but I had it equipped just in case. With this strategy and 30% extra health this boss becomes an absolute cake walk.

Thanks man still works. I used burial blade charged r2 with no problems. The trick for me was to not stay under her, but a bit behind her. That way you can easily dodge her stomps and swipes.

This strategy helped me more through the third phase. I'm on my second play of the game, but this was my first time on the Defiled Chalice. Definitely a tricky fight. Thanks! :D
