I would like to respectfully disagree with your point about Sea of Thieves. For many games, people could drop the resolution to 540p and play at 15 fps if they wanted to. The issue is that we don't have a choice. They've locked the framerate and resolution, meaning that we can't upgrade our experience if we wanted to. Them saying that they're"looking out for lower end users" is just a story to assign reasoning to their terrible optimization.

If an Xbox could run it as is now, why shouldn't PCs? Most of which are stronger than the consoles.
