The orange gown inspired by Filipino folklore story, "Ibong Adarna" while the red gown inspired by Mayon Volcano's lava in Legazpi, Albay PH Her earcuff also represents the 8 rays of the sun and 3 stars in the Philippine flag has deep meaning of it.

Did you know? Catriona has a FULL TEAM learning her perfect walk, smile, and definitely the gowns that she wore has stories that represents our culture here in the Philippines. From her Earrings and her two gowns has representation to us Filipinos. She is the most prepared ever Miss Universe Contestant and she gave a new level of Competency in the Show. Catriona had this locked down. She was the one that was so genuine and natural. Her signature "lava walk" paired with her red dress which is inspired by lava is from a Filipino designer. The earrings she paired with it was her own design. She stood out, I mean, she was the only one wearing red in the top 5 and top 3.
