That seamless transition between Deep Space Nine Main Theme and 'The Way You Look Tonight' with snippets of End Theme and splash of 'Minstrel Boy'. I have never heard a more beautiful transition.

DS9 was a worthy product of it's time & can never be replaced .

No moment in Star Trek history has made me ugly cry like this scene. I cried watching it, excused myself to take a shower, and then sobbed under the hot water for 20 minutes.

0:22 did... anyone else just notice how the flute was playing "The Minstrel Boy" melody from TNG The Wounded?

To this day I still tear up on this episode, this is for me the best Star Trek series.

Recently watched the season 4 episode, "The Visitor" and this ending is sad for Jake because he loses his father again. "For you and for the boy that I was. He needs you more than you know." -Jake Sisko

Idk if I'm alone but the part with Bashir and O'brien made me tear up.

Anyone notice when O'Brien picks up Travis the music is "The Minstrel Boy"?

I love the accompanying music. That's got to be the classiest & saddest finale montage of any Star Trek Series EVER . . . or ANY series ! I'm watching it at work, and I could feel myself tearing up . . . AGAIN !! Only slightly embarrassing.

I always cry when I re-watch this. BEST SHOW!

This kinda summed up the entire 7 seasons and very much a fitting tribute.

I would have loved to see Garak's flashbacks. He was a supporting character but he had some good moments and played a big role on the series as well. He is probably on Cardassia rebuilding the Empire.
