I went to this fair mate, that car is an electric hybrid car. It runs on solar power during day and using battery at night. Max speed is 180miles/hr

those spider robot were cool, seems interesting how all robots are based in part on something in nature. I guess robot creators are like writers, i guess you can only create something from what you have seen before. Pretty cool demonstration :)

@Draxius I can't argue with any of that except the 'providing help' part. Human children need 'help' to fit in culturally, so I'd consider it neccessary to give the robots some human stimuli.

In Japan we have earthquakes and typhoons. The technology for spiderbot is expected to be used to rescue people trapped in destroyed buildings.
