I like dusk/dawn fang in the Shivering Isles, where the charges reset and have new bonuses at dusk and dawn......and it looks sweet.

The best sword you can possibly get is a sword you enchant.

@Reesel100 umbra is from a quest for the daedric gods... the short one with the hound... that statue in the wild.. i forget the name but that's the quest for him... as for duskfang it's obtained in the shivering isles... when you are doing the traps to drive the people either insane or kill them... what you do is you kill the orc with the sword by reanimating the corpses... after all that open the chest and claim your new sword :)

@onewingedgamersephy Quests mostly. You can get Umbra at the very beginning. It's a bit difficult, but look at the internet for the map. Go there and attack Umbra. She will kill you for sure, but just run away to the imperial city. The Warriors there can kill her. You have to run around, so you can get as much Warriors as possible, because she kill them too ^^. But i just watched her dying on 15 warriors or something. Umbra also have a full ebony armour, so you can beat the game very easy

Staff of worms is my favourite weapon.. Not because it pwns but because I get the satisfaction of reviving Mannimarco on top of a blazing fire and watch him burn over and over. :P Everytime he expires I just repeat.

Dawn/DuskFang is freaking awesome! The attack power is sweet but not as much as heavy deadric weapons. (depends on sword/blunt skill levels on just how powerful different things are lol). However D/DF makes up for it in incredible elemental capacity & it gets more powerful the more blood it drinks. To an extent.

@MrHav1k I agree - at the moment I am using an ancient Akarvi Katana that I enchanted myself with Drain health 90pts for 3 seconds. Sure its not the strongest weapon but the reach is good and it only weighs 18 pounds which is good when I go on a scavange.

Cool. I use a white oak bow i enchamted with frenzy, the dragons armor and weapon set, and a small shortsword like katana that is white and i enchanted it with something but i forgot. All this stuff is from the ooo mod ( oscuros oblivion overhaul )

@GhostOfTheAngels Not mods, Umbra's sword is found in the game without ANY dlc, Lord Rugdumph's sword is a reward for a fighter guild quest, Dusk/Dawn Fang is a sword from the Shivering Isles, which is an expansion (So an "official mod").

Umbra is found in Vindasel, It's enchantment is Soul Trap which is used for capturing souls for Soul Gems.

lol the staff of worms love that thing hopefully in elder scrolls 5 you will actually get to become a necromancer!

@RebelliousToe well for one thing umbra can be hard for somepeople to kill and therefore loot her corpse to get her armor,shield and sword

@hatebringer6 its south west of the imperial city in a aylied ruin, there is a quest to get the sword from umbra but if you wanna keep the sword just kill umbra, the ruin is quite close to the river
