Well I’m impressed by the algorithm that this turned up on my recommended, because amid the staggering numbers I am in fact a Christian Furry heh and yea you’re right, it’s quite the challenge. Which is something that I appreciate you bringing conversation to. I’m in fact a ministry school student who is about to graduate this weekend, and yet it’s always very strange for me that the fandom in my own life lands both in testimony and in leisure. Part of my testimony would be more of that “human denial” you were referring to, even though I think that’s more oven found within Therian subculture than the fandom, but yea a big part of my testimony is being freed from that identity crisis. While simultaneously I still enjoy being involved in much of the SFW art and content the fandom produces. That of course isn’t inherently bad, but can also send me into a rabbit hole of lustful emotions driven by my past if I’m not careful. So all and all it’s a very tight line that is hard to walk well because of the way the fandom is sexually hyper charged, but even if I walk away, all of the beauty of the creativity that the fandom has will still remain in my heart. So it’s a real interesting spot to be in. One day I hope I can start a ministry program to the fandom Lord willing, because goodness does the fandom need it. I know I did when I drove myself crazy with my identity crisis. But yea definitely keep praying for us man, as someone who has lived both extremes, from a ministry school grad to someone who used to cry themselves to sleep for the sake of their humanity, the fandom needs prayer and Jesus man, desperately. I'm a Christian furry! I've been trying to start a Christian furry movement to encourage other Christian furries to step out and proudly proclaim their allegiance to Christ. So far it's been going very very well :)
